Also forgot to mention Jack is in the very early stages of learning - Message in a Bottle by The Police on guitar - his song choice so we will see.
He also has a mini piano recital on a grand piano on 8 Nov - my Dads birthday - so if his nerves hold out we will get to listen to how its all going.

Nearly Halloween
Its not that we havent had anything to post - its more like there just hasnt been time.
Theres been a trip to Surfers, lovely days at home, Spring festival (with Jack with the Joey Scouts in the parade), new job, deaths and illness (not with us but our thoughts have been with those affected), keeping within budgets then blowing it on a kitchen dresser - all sorts going on. But what seemed cute or cuddly or embarrassing or bad then seems pointless to point out now.
So whats past is past and whats now is now and currently Jack is at Joeys (with a huge bruise and bump on his head from after school club yesterday), Jim is indoor rock climbing (no seriously) and I am trying to finish off some adverts for the training centre I went to while job hunting, that I promised ages ago but with the new job I haven't finished.
Jack has a scouts disco on Friday night so Jim and I might venture to have a local meal while Jack eats junk. Then on Saturday the Manly Halloween Street Party - always good and ghoulish and little Nats birthday - have fun Nat back in Mank-chester.
We have six weeks till Jimmy arrives and we are looking forward to it but if you think thinking six weeks ahead is bad - Jim and I already know what we are going over a year ahead - 3 Dec Oslo Tickets to the 2nd to last ever A-HA gig - so looks like Europe for Christmas next year...if not before.
Week 4 already of my new job - I didn't end up having a break but started straight away which was good for the bank balance but I am still getting used to the rushing around again. I have been sending out some cold call letters and today I actually got someone call me to book an appointment - so I am chuffed - my work writing must not be as bad as my blog versions.... only sort of kidding but fingers crossed it is going fine.
Jack has settled back into after school club and our new morning routine which gives Jack and Jim some extra time as they have a 5 minute walk to school together. Jacks still driving us mad with his school work and perception of getting things done, by not getting them done but only 6 weeks to go and then with 6 weeks holidays hopefully Grade 3 will bring some common sense into his brain and stop driving us to distraction. Bless - hes only 7 but ahhhhh!!!!
Its lovely having this little bit of time to me - not making dinner, not rushing anyone anywhere, not currently doing that advert I need to finish...opps - so gotta go. Happy Halloween to the two people who still read this. Love you both.
