I am moving offices - to an area called Loganholme - to a smaller office with neighbours that if they sneeze it will be able to reach you. Its meant to be temporary and I will have the opportunity to work from home but thats only practical a day a week. As much as I have moaned about the lack of a window and access to the sunshine there have been a few practical and selfish good things about being right in the city- not least of all being Jims new job.
He works only 5 minutes away and we can meet up for a walk, or lunch or just to talk about our days whenever we want and we travel in on the train together - sometimes my head on his shoulder as we both snore our way into the city, sometimes catching up on what Jack did to make us laugh or scowl, or talking about big issues like the economy and the US elections and stuff.
So I think I am going to miss it - I had people I could meet for coffee and lunch sometimes and my little group was growing. And I have some favourite shops I like to window shop at - Biome and Borders. There is a huge shopping centre 5 minutes drive away from the new office and technically because I am going to be driving and not reliant on trains it should be quicker to get in but today I am still thinking I am going to miss it.
But its either that or I look for a new job and I dont want that, I definately dont need that and I am sure it will be fine.
I have a 2 for 1 for Wagamammas to use up with Jim before we go so seeya.

Bash, crash
We actually have rain - it has been bucketing down all night - so loud it woke us all up at about 1.30am - we had to rush around getting all the windows closed.
And it raining still - we need it, though our local area Wynnum was due to start its Spring festival tonight not sure they are too happy about it. But its only water so after work and school we will be popping down to see whats what.
There are three different free events/ festivals this weekend - we are also going into the city to see Greenfest on Sunday. All things green and maybe after the rain even the grass!!!

Jacks first....
...wobbly tooth. Jack is very excited he has finally got his first wobbly tooth - practically all the other kids have already lost teeth but Jacks were hanging in there. But yesterday out of the blue while out playing, one just started to wobble. But it hasnt fallen out yet.
So over dinner last night we discussed the tooth fairy and we believe we have come with what might be the going rate for teeth nowadays - for a horrible yellow one 5c and for a lovely healthy one that has come out all on its own, not forced or helped maybe up to $1.
